Contests and Events

Today I took about six different books to be entered into the Young Authors Fair, being held at The County Office of Education.

Located at 7000 Doe Avenue, Suite A
                   Visalia Ca. 93291

These creative books, which include interactive pages as well as uniquely designed pop-up style books, all teach the reader various styles of learning related to the Language Arts content.  The topics span from different types of literary conflict, including pictures and examples, as well as study guide words done in the most creative way, to help learners remember not only the specific name, but what the name means, through words and connection pictures.  These young ladies made books that I would probably purchase to have in my classroom, to help ME teach the concept.  You really should go check out their hard work, and show your support for our school.

The Fair will be open Wednesday, March 5, 9:00-4:00pm
*plus young authors fair reception 4:30-6:30pm
